ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The author, Gena West, is an award-winning singer/songwriter and performer, with four critically-acclaimed albums to her credit, a number 1 hit single โJoyโ, and accolades for numerous high-profile events around the world, including the Olympic Games.
As the daughter of a United Nations diplomat, she has travelled the world extensively and, coming from a diverse background, Gena is an avid agent of change, as exemplified in her TEDx talk and in her cutting-edge television chat show, โA Different View with Gena Westโ.
Gena studied law at the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a qualified Barrister and member of the Honourable Society of Lincolnโs Inn. As a motivational coach and speaker, she is a great believer in the gift of empowering others, and this is reflected in her writing.
Gena is of Nigerian heritage, was born and educated in the UK, and has lived in London, Accra and New York.
